FAQ's
Q: Can you represent a health care professional in hearings?
Yes. Most state laws allow non-attorneys to represent a health care professional in administrative hearings. We are all health care professionals, physicians, nurses, and physician asssistants, ourselves so we are intimately familiar with regulatory agencies and their proceedings. For court proceedings, we will work with your chosen counsel to make sure that the learning curve is tolerably short so that the lawyer can represent you adequately while we make sure that your attorney understands the anatomy of a medical practice. If you do not have an attorney for court proceedings, we will find one for you - one that is vetted by our in house legal team.
Q: Why Should I choose Your services in Administrative Proceedings?
Because we will not rob you blind and produce zero results. Insane upfront fees that most attorneys charge is to protect the attorney - not you. If the lawyer is experienced and understands the scope of what needs to be done to represent you, there would be no need to charge the obscene upfront fees. We also do not take the position that we have to cater to any prosecutor because we come from the side of the truth.
Q: What are your fees ?
Monetary gain is not our objective. Our objective is to stop the tidal wave of wrongful convictions against physicians, pharmacists, and other allied health care professionals. Our ability to train the laywers about the realities of the practice of medicine proves to be priceless because having a knowledgeable defense team is critical. We train the lawyers on what daily routine in the life of a physician, pharmacist and dentist is like. We also make sure that you stay in the driver seat at all times.
Q: Do your fees include staying on board for appeals?
Yes. We stay on board all the way. All of our work includes representing the health care professional before the administrative court, the regulatory agency and all the way up to appellate court. We are fierce in our representation and we do not stop until we get justice and return you to your practice with your license active and unrestricted.
Q: Do you provide expert witnesses?
We have a staff of expert witnesses in variety of specialties who do not charge an arm and a leg and who are in this for justice for their fellow colleagues.
Q: Do you deal with DEA proceedings ?
Yes we do. Because health care workers are often targeted by DEA, there are various adminstrative proceedings for the purpose of revoking DEA certificates. We defend health care workers who have DEA registrations fiercely before the administrative law judge in DEA proceedings.
Q: What is your availability?
For health care workers, we fully understand the urgency of the situation when the regulatory agency is restricting a medical license. And of course the urgency of the situation is amplified when a physician is facing criminal charges by the federal government. For this reason, we are available after hours and on the weekends. You will never feel like you cannot reach us unlike most lawyers who will take your money and become unavailable shortly thereafter.
